March 2022 update is improving Huawei Nova 7i phone’s security (EMUI 12)

Back in March, Huawei upgraded the Nova 7i smartphone to the latest EMUI 12 software system. Now, the company is sending a new software update for Huawei Nova 7i, which installs the March 2022 EMUI security update.

The March 2022 update for the Huawei Nova 7i smartphone running on EMUI 12 boosted system security by fixing vulnerabilities found in the latest software system. Other than this, the update doesn’t contain any additional changes and optimizations made to the system.

According to the information, Huawei Nova 7i owners can identify the new update with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.223 (C185E4R3P2). At the moment, the rollout is spotted in the Middle East and will soon expand to more users.

How to check for updates manually:

To check, go to the phone’s settings menu, tap on system & updates and then click software updates. From here, tap on check for updates and wait until the phone checks for a new update. Once the update is found, tap on the download and install option.

On the flip side, you can also request the update through the My Huawei app. Open the My Huawei app and visit the support section. From here, tap on the update icon and follow on-screen instructions.

Huawei Nova 7i comes with a 6.4-inch LCD display, powered by Kirin 810 Octa-core chipset and EMUI 10 as well as it’s now upgraded over EMUI 12 software system. It equips 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and packs a 4200mAh battery that could recharge with Max 40W SuperCharge.
