In August this year, Huawei announced HarmonyOS NEXT, which is a pure HarmonyOS operating system for a native HarmonyOS ecosystem.

It simply means that the company would remove Android app support from the next version of HarmonyOS, paving the way for only HarmonyOS apps.

Following this announcement, Chinese companies started recruiting HarmonyOS developers and paying high salaries to develop native applications.
