Recently, a well-known Weibo tipster – Chrysanthemum Fans familiar with Huawei P50 Pro reveals that one camera is not simple and its shape is completely different from other cameras. You can check it marked in red in the below teaser image.
Following the images, it is expected that the Huawei P50 Pro camera system is likely to come with a new kind of zoom to provide a better and looseless zooming at a far distance area.
Additionally, this camera has round corners, which seems to be different from previously launched smartphones, such as Mate 40, and P40 with a rectangular periscope camera.
Last year’s Huawei P40 Pro Plus has a 100x SuperZoom Array with a new periscope design that reflects light five times, extending the light path by 178 percent to support 10x true optical zoom.
The optically stabilized Ultra Vision Wide Camera and SuperZoom Array work in tandem with AI to realize Triple OIS+AIS for vastly improved photo and video stabilization.
On the other hand, the Mate 40 Pro+ offers the same extended zoom quality powered by 10x Optical Zoom and f/4.4 aperture and OIS.
Huawei P50 series:
According to the previous information, the Huawei P50 series has three models – Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro Plus. These phones will come with different processors variants including Kirin and Snapdragon.
Also, these P50 smartphones have pre-packed with HarmonyOS 2.0 operating system to provide a new and attractive user interface as well as user convenient features.
Huawei Mate 50 flagship to equip 5G case
Huawei is yet to release the Huawei Mate 50 lineup but input from the Chinese Weibo tipster reveals that this upcoming flagship will equip with a 5G smartphone case to enable 5G services. However, it’s not the only phone that’s getting 5G network support using this case, as there are more to come in this category.
According to the input, the recently launched 5G smartphone case will be adapted for Huawei Mate 50 series as well as new and old smartphones. According to the information, such a case will be available from June, and Mate 50 series is likely to unveil in July, which makes perfect proceedings.
In addition to the Mate 50 series upcoming Huawei Nova 10 and previous launched Nova 9 as well as Mate 40 series 4G models will also be able to install this 5G case. Currently, Huawei has not confirmed any specific details on the Huawei Mate 50 series but we’re surely awaiting some official hints.
Huawei Mate 50 Pro:

The display has an OLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1440 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and up to 240 Hz touch sampling rate as well as 424ppi screen pixel density.
Huawei Mate Xs is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G processor with Octa-core architecture including 1 x Cortex-X1 at 2.84GHz + 3 at Cortex-A78 at 2.42GHz + 4 x Cortex-A55 at 1.8GHz. According to the dimensions, this 5G phone case comes with 52g of weight and 3.2mm of thickness, which is close to a heavy case. To enable 5G, this case uses, an embedded 5G model that brings you better functionality but it’s likely to consume an extra battery of your Huawei device for sure, as it may require power to enable the 5G modem.
