UK and More: EMUI 10.0 for Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series coming soon

The EMUI 10.0 for Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series is about reach most of the markets around the globe. However, some markets including the UK, Ireland and Canada, Australia, New Zealand and more with carrier-locked and unlocked models are still away from this new EMUI version.

By taking note of this situation, we tried to reach out to Huawei UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand and got the following replies.

“EMUI 10 has been released, it has been sent to all carrier networks who then distribute out the updates. It may take some time to get to yourself but you will get this update for your phone.” Huawei UK and NZ.

“We’re currently developing the Android 10 update for our Mate 20 and P30 series and is looking to be ready by the end of 2019 towards the start 2020, tentatively in January” Huawei Australia and New Zealand.

Currently, Huawei Canada has not confirmed anything about the EMUI 10.

From the reply, we can expect that Huawei consumers in the UK and IE may receive EMUI 10.0 very soon. Though the update in Australia and New Zealand may take a few more weeks to be rolled out but nothing is certain at the moment.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Open HiCare app > Update > Check for updates > Download and Install.

or Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

Or install HiSuite application on your PC > Connect your device (using USB cable) > click Update (Full instructions here).
