Tipster says Huawei Nova 12 series will bring 5G and it’s worth waiting for

A tipster revealed that the Huawei Nova 12 series, an upcoming Nova family smartphone lineup, will come with a 5G network and it’s worth waiting for.

While sharing this input on Weibo, the tipster said that the Huawei Nova 11 SE is a 4G phone and comes with a 100MP camera system. However, the Huawei Nova 12 series could surprise everyone with its new network capability.

Past information shows that Huawei’s Nova 12 series will equip a new punch-hole display. The rear camera is placed vertically, maybe some new changes may appear as compared to the Nova 11 Pro. The phone would feature, new satellite SMS technology and Nearlink fast wireless transmission.

Huawei’s Nova 12 series will introduce two models later this year. This includes the Nova 12 standard version and the Nova 12 Pro. Both models will offer specs in terms of screens and cameras.

The Nova 12 may pack a 50-megapixel super-sensing imaging lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel wide-angle macro lens. The camera structure may be identical to the past version with some polishes. The front could follow a 60MP ultra wide-angle camera system.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Nova 12 Pro uses a second-generation Kunlun glass slightly curved screen. And its OLED panel will provide a 120Hz high refresh rate. The rear side of the phone will host a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel wide-angle macro lens. The main camera might also have variable aperture architecture.

It’s speculated that the standard Nova 12 Pro is protected by a second-generation Kunlun glass. But the screen may be only slightly curved screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz.

Both of the Huawei Nova 12 series phones are reportedly preparing with a new Kirin chipset. It may be Kirin 9000s but there’s a possibility of witnessing a new mid-range Huawei chip launch as well.

Currently, Huawei has not shared any details about the Huawei Nova 12 series but it may happen by the end of this year. Yet, 5G would be the main concentration of the Huawei Nova 12 series for the customers.
