Standard Huawei P50 update brings Celia Suggestions optimization

Huawei sending a new software update for the standard P50 that comes with an essential HarmonyOS feature – Celia Suggestions. The update also improves the Huawei P50’s connectivity with Huawei smart TV AKA smart screens.

The latest Celia Suggestions software update for the Huawei P50 comes with HarmonyOS 2.0.1 version 2.0.1.175 and an update package size of 329 megabytes. The software is only available for the standard model of the Huawei P50 lineup.

Celia Suggestions:

This feature is available right on the home screen of the HarmonyOS powered Huawei P50 series, the users will get recommendations on services based on their interest and usage habit. These recommendations also change based on the user time on the screen.

For example, the Celia Suggestions will recommend video streaming apps and provide easy access during the times of the day when you tend to stream your favorite content.

Huawei P50 and P50 Pro software difference:

Launched on July 29, Huawei P50 and P50 Pro share the same hardware prowess. However, the P50 Pro was the first to sell in the market but it comes with HarmonyOS 2.0. On the other hand, Huawei waited for the standard P50 and launched it after two months of the Pro variant.

Therefore, the Huawei P50 (standard) comes with pre-installed HarmonyOS 2.0.1, a step-up version for the consumers. This version doesn’t reflect any significant change in terms of features. Instead, you’ll get the same user interface and user experience as the P50 Pro.

Standard Huawei P50 specifications:

Huawei P50 features a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and 300 Hz touch sampling rate with 2700 x 1224 pixels resolution and 458 PPI.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 888 4G Octa core processor with Adreno 660 GPU. The phone’s hardware is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB ROM.
