Huawei P70 series Geekbench real

A few days back we reported that Huawei P70 series allegedly entered the Geekbench with a new Kirin chip and showed dynamic scores but, a new input now says that this listing might not be real. Perhaps one should again have a detailed look over it.

The story began when a blogger on X (Twitter) shared some Geekbench results and asserted them to be Huawei P70 series models due to slightly similar model numbers found in the 3C certification. The submission date for these phones was March 29.

But now another X tipster @rquandt sheds light on this subject and says that the recent Geekbench listing of the alleged Huawei P70 series was fake and not real.

The tipster further cited that these scores were of some old handsets probably the Huawei P60 lineup’s prototypes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G chipset. Many netizens reverified and found that this benchmarking was not for the P70 phones.

The conclusion is that the Huawei P70 series is still behind the scenes and there aren’t any major revelations about its existence. However the tech giant seems to begin gearing up the P70 development and may soon show it up in the real world.

Huawei P70 series Pre-Orders in April?

Some other inputs imply that the Huawei P70 series is likely to make its way on the consumer platform this month, within the first or the second week. But again the company has not officially confirmed the matter. Yet a few store staff said that the pre-orders for P70 models may begin in early April.

Three new Huawei phones have appeared on the network certification sites in China, and are hearsay to be the flagship Huawei P70 handsets. You can check the model numbers below:

  • ADY-AL10 – Standard Huawei P70
  • HBN-AL80 – Huawei P70 Pro
  • HBP-AL00 –  Huawei P70 Art

Even though the company has kept the P70 phones a secret, we may get the official details on this subject in the coming days.
