Honor 30S launched with Kirin 820 5G, 64MP quad camera, Magic UI 3.1 and $335 starting price



Honor today announced its first-ever mid-range 5G smartphone – Honor 30S in China. This phone equips with the latest Kirin 820 5G chipset, and it’s also the first Huawei/Honor phone to equip with a 64MP main camera.

Talking about its display, which expands at 6.5-inch fullHD+ screen with hole-punch design. The side of the phone embeds power + fingerprint into one.

The power of this smartphone comes from 7nm processed Kirin 820 5G chipset consisting of 1 x Cortex-A76 core clocked at 2.36GHz, 3 x Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.22GHz, and 4 x Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.84GHz.

The GPU improves graphics performance by up to 38%  for the best gaming experience and new self-developed NPU kick in extra AI power of 70% compared to Kirin 810.

The camera of Honor 30S offers AI quad-camera comprising a 64MP main camera, 8MP telephoto camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. On the front side, it has a 16MP selfie camera support super night view for best selfies.

The phone runs the latest Magic UI 3.1 software system, supported by Huawei Share 4.0, Link Turbo network aggregation, and other AI-related software enhancements.

For battery life, Honor the 30S packaged with 4000mAh battery that can be recharged with a super-fast 40W charging.

The rear side of the Honor 30S uses a new double-layer holographic pattern design with a 3D effect body, which changes according to the reflection of light. The Honor 30S comes in Night Black, White, Green, and Red all in gradient finishes.
