February 2022 HarmonyOS security patch released for Honor 30S
Honor 30S smartphone is getting a new update through OTA medium that carries a security patch released in February 2022. According to information, this update is rolling out with HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.222.
So, Honor 30S users required their devices on HarmonyOS 2.0.0.220 version to grab the latest update. As per the changelog, the Honor 30S February 2022 security patch improves system security by fixing over 42 common vulnerabilities found in the system.

- Honor 30S (CDY-AN90)
- Honor 30S (CDY-AN95)
- Honor 30S (CDY-TN90)
At the moment, the update size is not known by it will regular. But, make sure that your device must have around 300MB of free storage space to download and install the update. Also, keep your phone battery 30% or above so that the device won’t off during the update process.

To get the latest update, go to the smartphone’s settings menu, select system & updates, tap on software updates followed by CHECK FOR UPDATES. If a new update is found on your device hit the download and install button as well as wait for the update to complete automatically.
On the flip side, you can perform the same task on the My Huawei app, open the My Huawei app, go to the update section and follow on-screen instructions to update your phone’s software system.
