October 2023 EMUI update rolling out for Huawei P60 Pro global units

The global users of the Huawei P60 Pro flagship are now receiving a new software update with the October 2023 security patch for the existing EMUI 13 software. The latest rollout comes after two weeks of the September 2023 software. All of the Huawei P60 Pro users are advised to install this version to improve the phone’s security aspects.

In terms of identification, this update for Huawei P60 Pro comes with software build version 13.1.0.178 from EMUI 13.1.0.176. You should know that this is not a major firmware and only requires the download of 468 megabytes OTA update.

As it reflects, the Huawei P60 Pro is one of the two devices that are launched with EMUI 13.1 among global consumers. And there are new features as well as animations. Meanwhile, the P60 Pro users are also anticipating the next major EMUI release. For now, Huawei has not announced any of the related news for a new EMUI version but it should be around the corner. We hope that the company will not delay it like EMUI 13.
