New system optimizations rolling out for Huawei Mate X2 via new update

Earlier this month, Huawei has debuted the next-generation foldable smartphone, Huawei Mate X2. This latest device comes with plenty of new features with a premium design over its predecessors- Mate X and Mate Xs.

After the launch, Huawei is sending non-stop updates for its newly unveiled device for further improvements. Now, the company has pushed another EMUI software update for MateX2 that enhances the system stability to improve the stability of the device.

Last week, the Mate X2 smartphone received a software update, which came with a number of optimizations for display, camera, and system to boost the device performance and system stability.

 

What’s new in this update:

EMUI Version: Huawei Mate X2 device users receiving EMUI 11 build version 11.0.0.150 SP2 improved from 11.0.0.135 SP1.

Changelog: Optimize the system stability of some scenes to make your phone run more stable.

Steps to update your device:

To manually download this update via mobile Settings– open Settings < click on the System & updates < open Software update < tap on Check for updates option < (if an update is available) click on Download and install < after installation, restart the device.

Alternatively, you can download it via Support App – open Support app on your device < click on the Service tab < click on the update button< tap on Check for update option< (if an update is available) click on Download and install < after installation reboot the device.

THINGS TO KNOW:

  1. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
  2. The update will not erase any data.
  3. It’s recommended that you update through a stable internet connection.

Huawei Mate X2 specification:

It features an inward folding screen with an 8-inches main screen and a 6-inches secondary OLED screen, 5mn Kirin 9000 processor, a 90Hz  high refresh, pre-installed EMUI 11 with all the latest offerings.

Additionally, it packs with 50MP quad-camera with a 16MP front camera, 66W fast charging to support 4500mAh long battery life, and much more.
