Nearly 100 Huawei and Honor devices received HarmonyOS update, moving to complete roadmap plan

Huawei has confirmed that nearly 100 devices from Huawei and Honor branded smartphones and tablets running HarmonyOS 2 operating system. These include both stables as well as current beta testers.

According to the information, Huawei is still conducting and moving towards public beta and closed HarmonyOS 2 beta testing for several devices. However, the top flagship has already completed the installation process including Huawei Mate 40, Mate 30, Mate 20, P40, P30, MatePad Pro, Nova 8, Nova 7, Nova 6 as well as Nova SE series phones.

Similarly, the top models of the Honor campaign also received the HarmonyOS 2 upgrade, these models are – Honor 30, V30, V20, Honor 20, and others.

These 100 HarmonyOS devices also have China-exclusive devices from Enjoy and Maimang lineups. Furthermore, the upgrade roadmap clearly mentioned Huawei smart screen smart TVs that have also received this major software upgrade.

Thereafter, Huawei has a few more models left to cover under the HarmonyOS 2 umbrella such as Huawei P10, Nova 3, and Honor Play. These phones will also begin their beta journey very soon.

100 HarmonyOS Devices

HarmonyOS 2.1: 

It’s reported that HarmonyOS 2.1 will launch in September on Huawei P50 standard version. The phone comes with Snapdragon 888 processor and has 4G access. However, the Pro version was released earlier and is already available to purchase in China.

HarmonyOS:

HarmonyOS 2 comes with various features and software capabilities to enhance the user experience. This new operating system is designed to work across different devices and is powered by Huawei’s distributed capabilities.

As announced recently, HarmonyOS 2 mobile installation has exceeded 50 million users in China alone. As this operating system is yet to serve global consumers. However, Huawei has not made any clarification on this matter. Meanwhile, users want to know when it’ll come to the global models.
