May 2021 HarmonyOS 2.0 software update for Huawei Smart Screen X65 new performance and optimizations

In February 2021, Huawei pushed a new version of HarmonyOS 2.0 for the Smart Screen X65 that brought support for China Ultra HD Video Industry Alliance (CUVA) HDR Vivid dynamic display support for better picture quality.

Additionally, MeeTime, distributed games, remote housekeeping, distributed nursing, distributed audio, and other functions are also updated with this version.

Now, the company has begun sending a new HarmonyOS 2.0 update for Smart Screen X65. This update mainly brings the optimizations for the system and K Song, which improves the user’s experience and overall performance.

Recently, Huawei has added one more product in the Smart Screen Series – Huawei Smart Screen SE. It was launched in two sizes – 55 and 65 inches with 4K resolution, 95.1% screen-to-body ratio, HRD Vivid Display, Huawei’s self-developed color gamut color enhancement technologies, and more.

POINTS TO KNOW:

  • The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
  • Please make sure that your smart screen must be a device officially shipped for commercial use (excluding informal purchase channels).

New Version:

Huawei Smart Screen X65 getting a new version 2.0.0.188 upgraded from 2.0.0.172 (SP5)

Changelog:

  • Optimizes the system performance and experience of some scenes to improve system stability
  • Optimizes the performance of voice wake up and more
  • Optimizes the K song audio multi-channel sound effect to improve the K song experience

UPDATE INSTRUCTION:

Manually Update:

  • Open the wisdom screen
  • In the Home, menu select All Applications
  • Tap on Settings
  • Tap on System
  • Go to Software update
  • Download and Install

Automatic Update:

  • Open the wisdom screen
  • In the Home, menu select All Applications
  • Tap on Settings 
  • Tap on System
  • Turn on the Automatic update switch
