May security update rolling out for Honor 20S, first one to get it

Moving on from April security, Huawei has started to release May patches to its smartphones and the first one to get it comes from Honor campaign – Honor 20S.

Honor 20S is receiving a new software update that installs the latest security improvements released in May 2020. This update is pushed for the users who’ve decided to stay on Magic UI 2.1 (Android 9), while some other users of Honor 20S are testing Magic UI 3.1.

Honor 20S May Update Changelog:

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.

The May 2020 security update brings security patches from Huawei and Google fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 22 high and 2 Medium levels of CVEs.

VERSIONS:

May 2020 security update for Honor 20S comes with Magic UI 2.1 version 9.1.1.161 and 170MB.
