Huawei is rolling out a new update for the global models of the Huawei MatePad 11 tablet that comes with the latest March 2023 security patches for better system protection.

According to the changelog, Huawei MatePad 11 global users are receiving this March 2023 security with HarmonyOS build version 2.0.0.277. You should know that the global tablet series has pre-installed HarmonyOS as compared to EMUI in old devices.

Huawei MatePad 11 features a 10.95-inch screen that has WQXGA pixels resolution and 86% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet uses Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. It also has a 7250mAh battery that could recharge with a 22.5W charger.

Interstingly, the update doesn’t include any other changes than March 2023 HarmonyOS security patch. However, the global Huawei MatePad 11 users are waiting for the HarmonyOS 3 software update. In the meantime, Chinese consumers of this tab are running HarmonyOS 3 on board for months.

We hope that Huawei will find a quick solution to provide HarmonyOS 3 for these tablet users.
