Huawei’s upcoming wireless speaker Sound X2 could launch with in-built camera system

Back in 2019, Huawei introduced its first-ever wireless smart speaker- Huawei Sound X in the Chinese Market jointly with Devialet, a French Speakers and Audiophile Amplifier making company.

Previously, a Weibo tipster- Courage Digital King revealed that Huawei could launch a next-generation smart sound system, Huawei X2. However, he didn’t provide any further information regarding this.

Now, the same tipster shared another information about the Sound X2, which admits that it will come with a camera. In this case, we are still wondering what could be the use of the camera on a speaker, maybe it will have a face recognition feature or some gesture operation to control the device. This is surely something amazing to look forward to in the speaker segment.

At the moment, nothing is much clear about the camera specification and usability. The consumers have to wait till the official confirmation arrives regarding this device. Nothing is certain yet, Stay tuned to be updated.

Previously launched Huawei Sound X comes with a quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal storage, EMUI 10.1. Additionally, it supports a 60W dual subwoofer, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, smart assistants, one-touch control, and HiLink smart home control.

The speaker hits the market as the first top-notch wireless speaker product from the Chinese tech giant, which offers seamless interaction, low-latency audio, Huawei Share function, and more. Since then, there is no devices launch in this series.

Today, Huawei shared a Vehicle 3D information patent that will bring more accuracy during information acquisition. This patent entitled “Method and Device for Obtaining Vehicle 3D Information” has been approved by the intellectuals.

According to China Intellectual Property Database, Huawei has applied for this vehicle 3D information patent in March 2020. After clearing all examination stages, it has been published with the publication number is CN113435224A in China.

Coming to the patent document, the described method will be suitable for the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). Its application scenario includes smart driving, AI connected vehicles, connected smart cars, and more.

At Huawei Connect 2021, Zhang Ping’an, CEO of Huawei CLOUD and President of Huawei Consumer Cloud Service spoke about Huawei Cloud, officially announced the first virtual human, Yunsheng. That’s not it, Yunsheng joined Huawei Cloud as the first virtual human employee. Zhang introduced Yunsheng under Huawei CLOUD’s digital content product line.

According to the information, in the YunSheng word, the Shen part of the word sounds sheng and derived from traditional Chinese. The meaning of this word translates as a musical instrument.

Huawei Virtual Human

Huawei has developed YunSheng by using AI Automatic modeling, AI Voice drive, and AI rendering acceleration. These three technologies helped Huawei to form a perfect virtual human. During the official introduction, Yunsheng introduced Huawei Cloud use cases in a different and funky manner.
