Huawei’s own OS will soon be launched this fall the earliest and no later than spring next year

We’ve confirmed that Huawei’s new operating system is served under the word “Hongmeng” and now we’ve more information regarding this mysterious OS.

According to Huawei’s consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s first-ever self-developed operating system will soon be launched this fall the earliest and no later than spring next year. Interestingly, the new Huawei OS will be compatible with all Huawei phones, tablets, TV, and wearable devices.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei’s OS is also compatible with all Android applications and all web applications.

Earlier we exclusively told that the Huawei’s upcoming OS is planned to be different from the current Android architecture but there are certain issues that the company previously facing in the development of Hongmeng and there are also some challenges waiting for it when it’ll be launched commercially in their device ecosystem, says an internal source related to Huawei.
