Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 starts receiving July 2020 security update

Huawei has pushed a new update for the pop-up selfie camera phone – Huawei Y9 Prime 2019, this latest software update brings July 2020 Android security patches for improved system security.

Currently, the update is rolling out for the Huawei Y9 2019 users in India and soon it’ll start to expand to other countries.

July Patch Details:

The July 2020 security update installs Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 5 critical and 9 high levels of CVEs. There is no Medium and Low level of CVEs found.

VERSION:

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 receiving the July 2020 security patch with EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.264 (C675E6R4P2) upgrading from EMUI 10.0.0.230. Users will have to download 97MB.
