Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 receiving May 2020 EMUI security update, EMUI 10.1 discussion starts among users

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 receiving a new update that installs improvements to its EMUI system and security with Android patches released in May 2020. Still, the phone has not received smart features such as Huawei Assistant and Smart Charge except for Indian users.

Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 was launched with EMUI 9.1, later upgraded to the EMUI 10.0 and now the user of this phone waiting high for the EMUI 10.1.

Currently, Huawei has confirmed the first phase of global Huawei and Honor for EMUI 10.1 but phones including Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 is not part of this list. Since more devices’ yet to be added, Y9 Prime 2019 likely to tag along later on.
