Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 on EMUI 10 getting October 2020 security update

Huawei has kicked off a new software update for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 users. This update brings a security update released in October 2020 and enhances the device’s system security as well as fixes different levels of exploits and issues.

Aside from this, Huawei is expanding its EMUI 11 beta testing for more of its device. However, Y9 Prime 2019 is running on EMUI 10.0 and users are still waiting for EMUI 10.1 upgrade and there’s no confirmation on its EMUI 11 status either.
