Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 receiving September security update, still no EMUI 10.1 rollout

In September 2020, Huawei launched EMUI 11 at HDC 2020 and very soon started its EMUI 11 beta program for the users of Huawei P40, Mate 30, and MatePad Pro series. While Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 and Huawei P30 lite are still running EMUI 10 and not receiving EMUI 10.1.

Now, Huawei is pushing a new software update for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 that comes with the latest Android security patches released in September 2020 that improve system security and provide stability to the device.

UPDATED SOFTWARE VERSION:

This latest update for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 devices comes with EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.291 with a package size of 117MB.
