Huawei Y9 2019 receiving August EMUI security update

Yesterday, we reported about a new software update for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 and now Huawei Y9 2019 is also receiving the same software improvements. The new software version for Y9 2019 brings new security patches released in August 2020 for better system security and performance.

Last month, Huawei Y9 2019 received smart features such as Smart Charge and Smart Battery Capacity that reduce battery aging by adapting your charging routine through AI learning and preventing the battery from being continuously charged when full. The phone also received Huawei Browser app.

The August 2020 security update for Huawei Y9 2019 comes with EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.0.309 and package size of 102MB.
