August 2020 security update rolling out for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019

Huawei has pushed a new EMUI software update for the pop-up selfie camera smartphone, Huawei Y9 Prime 2019. This new update installs security patches released in August 2020 for better system security.

Some of the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 users recently asked us about the EMUI 10.1 eligibility but there’s no official confirmation about this matter available at the moment.

This latest security update for Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes with EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.271 upgrading from EMUI 10.0.0.264. Users will have to download a software package size of 101MB.
