Huawei Y8p launches with display fingerprint, 48MP triple camera, EMUI 10.1

Huawei has recently announced two new Y-series devices – Huawei Y5p and Huawei Y6p and now the company has listed Huawei Y8p as the latest addition to this lineup.

Huawei Y8p is currently listed on the Huawei global website but it’ll soon go on sale in Europe starting Belarus at a price of 849 BYN ($354) along with 100 rubles discount and a free Huawei Band 4 Pro fitness band.

According to the listing, the Huawei Y8p sports a 6.3-inch OLED display with fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution and dewdrop notch design. It’s powered by Kirin 710F chipset, supporting 4/6GB RAM + 128GB ROM (expansion up to 256GB via NMcard).

Huawei Y8p has a rear triple camera setup consisting of a 48 MP (f/1.8 aperture) + 8 MP (Ultra Wide Angle Lens, f/2.4 aperture) + 2 MP (f/2.4 aperture). While on the front it has a 16MP f/2.0 aperture camera.

Although the phone has an old processor but it does come with the latest EMUI 10.1 software along with GPU Turbo 3.0, Meetime, and Huawei AppGallery.

The battery of this phone has 4000mAh capacity with 10W charging. Huawei Y8p comes in Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black and expands at 157.4 x 73.2 x 7.75mm + 163g weight.
