Huawei is a leading industry brand in China and wants to lead the fifth generation of the mobile network in the global market by introducing the first 5G ready phone and chips in 2019.

According to Huawei’s Rotating CEO Eric Xu said, “The company plans to launch commercial 5G solutions as well as 5G chips for smartphones in March 2019.”.

These release of new 5G mobile solutions will enable Huawei to launch a 5G-Ready smartphone in June 2019, as for now the P-series is not expected to debut with the technology so Mate-series could become first to be launched with the upcoming technology.

According to DigiTimes, Xu said that he believes the announcement of 3GPP Released 16, expected by year-end 2018, will fully address issues related to low-latency and massive connectivity on 5G, and therefore accelerating the development of 5G networks and services.

These 5G networks will help to the mobile network to boost services such as video streaming and other mobile related services such as Mobile VR, AR, and MR Xu added in the statement.

Huawei plans to roll out commercial 5G solutions for NSA (non-standalone) networks in September 2018 and other solutions for SA 5G networks in March 2019,” Xu said.
