Huawei will invest 220 million USD to support developers, efforts to grow app ecosystem at fast pace

Huawei is going to conduct the Huawei Developer Conference 2021 (Cloud HDC) in Shenzhen, China, on April 24. At this event, the respective authorities will present their views about Cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence.

According to the latest news, at the pre-communication meeting of the Huawei Developer Conference 2021, Huawei stated that it will invest 220 million USD to support developers and hopes to grow up to 3 million people.

In September 2019, Huawei introduced a Fertile Soil Plan 2.0. As per the plan, Huawei will spend 15 billion USD in the next five years to develop five million developers across the globe. Additionally, welcomes the company and individuals to participate in the further ecological development of the computing industry.

Following this, Tencent’s Frontline report disclosed that at the meeting Huawei’s Senior Vice President – Zhang Shunmao said it had invested 200 million USD in 2020. To date, Huawei has developed 2.03 million developers, in which the number of cloud developers exceeds 1 million.

Huawei Developer Conference 2021 (HDC Cloud) roadmap: The event will start from April 24 to April 26, 2021. Throughout this time, Huawei will hold different keynotes and training camps.
