Huawei will give the charger price instead of packing a new charger inside the phone box

Some smartphone manufacturer including Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, and other began canceling the charging cables with the new phone. It was also reported that Huawei may soon this community and continue the same trend.

Today, a digital blogger – Chrysanthemum discloses that some of the Huawei smart products cannot bring a 66W charging head with them. Its expected models are Nova 8, Mate 40 series as well as devices working with Kirin 990 processor.

According to the tipster, the main reason behind this is the shortage of charging IC chips. But, if the consumers want to buy the head separately, they can visit Huawei/Honor Mall.

Therefore, the upcoming model will no longer pack with the charger adapter, but the company will cut the charger price amount from the related smartphones. So, that needy users can purchase chargers by themselves.

Back in March, Huawei Mate 40 Pro passed China’s 3C certificate and the charger has been changed to optional. Additionally, it canceled the chargers for the three versions of Bright Black, Glazed White, and Mithril, and only equipped with standard chargers for the two plain types of leather colors.
