Huawei Watch Ultimate Design starts receiving HarmonyOS 4.2 upgrade

Huawei has surprised the Watch Ultimate Design users by releasing the HarmonyOS 4.2 software upgrade. The firmware is approaching the respective device owners in batches and will take some time to cover all the eligible units in the home ground.

On releasing an unexpected official upgrade, some users inquired the customer service. In response, the helpline said that the new HarmonyOS 4.2 upgrade for Huawei Watch Design Ultimate has been pushed on April 15, in batches.

Huawei Watch Ultimate Design is receiving the latest software upgrade with the 4.2.0.103 build version and a downloadable package of 73.29 Megabytes. Ensure to have sufficient storage space and battery backup to proceed with the installation.

It is worth mentioning that the changelog doesn’t contain many changes or features for the flagship wearable. Yet, it brings several new watch faces including a ‘three ring’ theme to offer a new and mesmerizing look to the smartwatch’s screen.

The company has also enhanced the overall functioning of the device and made it more stable as well as reliable for users. Hence you may not face any kind of interruptions or glitches while performing heavy tasks on your smartwatch.

You can also install the newest version manually via the Huawei Health app on your smartphone. Just connect your wearable to your phone using Bluetooth. Now select the ‘Connected Device Section’ and tap on Updates. To the available firmware, hit the Download and Install button.
