HarmonyOS Cross Device Task Center feature rolling out for Huawei P50 Pro
Huawei is rolling out a new set of features for its latest flagship – Huawei P50 Pro. These new additions include the HarmonyOS cross device Task Center feature. According to the changelog, the update comes with HarmonyOS 2.0 version 126.96.36.199 and a downloadable OTA update package size of 609MB.
Initially, Huawei announced cross device task center feature at the launch of HarmonyOS 2.0 on June 2, 2021. As its name says, the task center app allows you to see and manage the task manager history of the connected device.
However, this feature is powered by the distributed HarmonyOS capabilities. Therefore, it provides you more than expected and helps you to share the current app between two different devices without even installing the app on the second device. More interestingly, you will be able to control the app from the second device, which is absolutely awesome.
For instance, if you are running a game on your smartphone, you just need to go to the task manager of the phone and task manager view. Now, tap on the device (such as a tablet) to run the corresponding app. However, the user must first need to connect the tablet and the phone via the same WiFi network and Huawei ID.
Similarly, another task can also be handled by the task center such as viewing documents on a tablet for a bigger view, without even installing any additional app.
Other Changes in this update:
Looking at the details, the latest Huawei P50 Pro update also brings a new situation-based service combination and added automatic service widget customizations as well as new one-click access to similar services.
It also adds a new Celia Keyboard for a better typing experience and there are also new optimizations for the camera to improve the overall photography experience.

Huawei Watch Fit September 2021 smartwatch update brings big optimizations
Back in June, Huawei pushed a software update for the squared frame smartwatch – Huawei Watch Fit 2. This new update installed a number of important features such as – Lock screen password and SMS reply.
Now, an incremental firmware update is being seeded to the Huawei Watch Fit that comes with big optimizations for the lock screen password and other features as well as fixes some issues with the display.

A week ago, Huawei released a notice of recruitment for the Huawei Watch GT 2 users, which will bring a number of new features. Speaking of which, the Chinese tech maker has released the first beta update for the corresponding smartwatch models that brings a number of new features.
According to the information, the first beta update for the Huawei Watch GT 2 46mm comes with 220.127.116.11. The update consists of new lock screen features, new outdoor sports, screen always-on feature, and enhance female cycle feature.

However, users would be required to install the required firmware version 18.104.22.168 on their smartwatch to upgrade with new features. The corresponding participant must have the latest version of Huawei Health Beta.
To be mentioned, keep your smartwatch charged sufficiently before you move to the upgrade process and maintain the distance between the watch and the phone during the package transfer. Wait for the upgrade process to conclude because it may take a long time.
