Huawei to continue using flat and curved edge display with center hole-punch design for future devices, says tipster

Huawei’s upcoming flagship from P-series, Huawei P50 will reportedly set to launch in June. In the meantime, leaks, rumors, and renders are continuously circulating online to keep Huawei fans anticipated.

A well-known tipster from Weibo – Digital Chat Station has some information, revealing that Huawei likely to move forward with center hole-punch design alongside curved and flat panel displays for high end and mid-range devices.

According to the previous leaks, the Huawei P50 will be powered by Kirin 9000 powerful processor, pre-packed with HarmonyOS, a 6.3-inch flat panel display, 156.7 x 74 x 8.3mm dimensions, and more. On the other hand, the Pro version has slight curves on the edges while both of these devices have hole-punch on the center-top part for a selfie.

In terms of camera, the phone is likely to arrive with a cylindrical camera shape module comprising two big circles to equip cameras inside and an LED flashlight is also there. This new camera system is surely something to look forward to.

Furthermore, the P50 devices will have pre-installed HarmonyOS software system, that’ll unlock new capabilities for the consumers and enable cross devices platform connection among different Huawei phones, tablets, smart wearables, and more.

Reports reveal that this annual flagship will also bring multiple auxiliary lenses to support on-screen fingerprint recognition. Currently, the official release date of Huawei P50 is not confirmed by the company yet.
