Huawei today released new cryptic teasers of its upcoming Huawei Developer Conference 2020 (HDC 2020) on Weibo. In the latest promo images, the company allegedly teased its new PC platform support for HarmonyOS AKA Hongmeng OS.

The images cut HDC 2020 promo with two “Computer Keyboard” shortcuts including Ctrl+F and Ctrl+Shift+N. These shortcuts keys used for Find and New Tab functions respectively.

Huawei also wrote to release a new big technology at HDC 2020 and since it’s a promo, we expect the company to drop more cryptic teasers online until we reach the launch day.

A previous report reveals that the company has planned to launch new PCs powered by HarmonyOS 2.0. Moreover, the company will also add the new smartwatch platform to its self-developed operating system.

At HDC 2019, Huawei shared the roadmap to upgrade HarmonyOS. With HarmonyOS 2.0 in 2020, Huawei is scheduled to release it for Domestic PC, Smartwatch/Bands, and Automotive/Car interfaces. The HarmonyOS will adopt more platforms until 2022.

Huawei Developer Conference 2020 will be held at Huawei’s Songshan Lake headquarter on September 10-12. On Sep 10, the company will announce EMUI 11, HarmonyOS update, new HMS Core 5.0 kits, 5G solution, AI, and more.
