Huawei TalkBand B6 launched with new 1.53-inch AMOLED display and improved battery

On July 30, Huawei launched its latest Huawei TalkBand B6 smart band, which allows users to detach the main display and use it as the Bluetooth headphone. In this new device, the company has introduced some new hardware and software capability over its predecessor.

The Huawei TalkBand B6 equips an improved 3D flexible AMOLED display with a 1.53-inch size, 460×188 resolution, and 326PPI. It packs with a 120mAh battery that can stand up to 3 days typical usage and 8 hours talk time.

The screen and battery capacity are improved compared to the 1.13-inch panel in the TalkBand B5 and 108mAh battery size.

Important features of this TalkBand include SpO2 measurement, TruSeen 3.5 hear rate detection, TruSleep 2.0,  TruReleax, remote camera shutter, FIRSTBEAT training guide, new sports modes, and more.

Huawei TalkBand B6 is powered by the Kirin A1 chipset and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.2, this will be the first TalkBand to come with Kirin A1 chipset. There’s a dual MIC system on this band to provide a clear audio protocol, as well as USB Type-C fast charging port.

The TalkBand B6 is IP57 rated and has an inbuilt acceleration sensor, gyroscope sensor, heart rate sensor (PPG), ambient light sensor, Hall sensor.

Huawei TalkBand B6 comes in three version – Sports, Fashion and Premium and color options of Black, Coral Red, Camelion Brown, Mocha Brown, and Titanium Silver Gray.

Price and Availability:

Huawei TalkBand B6 is priced at 999 Yuan (142 USD). It’s open to pre-order from July 30 and the first sale is set for August 6 in China.
