Huawei takes top spot in China’s tablet market for Q3 2019: IDC

In the third quarter of this year, Huawei acquired topmost smartphone market share in China and now research reveals that the company is also leading in the tablet division in the same market.

According to the data compiled by IDC, Huawei in the third quarter sold 2.12 million tablet units, with 37.4% market share and 24.4% YoY growth.

To be noted the figures shown in the report includes the tablets sales count of both Huawei and its subsidiary Honor.

In the list of tablet makers, Apple comes second with a 33.8% market share and followed by Xiaomi with 5.9 million units.

In a Chinese market report from Canalys for Q3 2019, Huawei has captured 40% of the Chinese smartphone market and is the only company to see business growth.
