Huawei Mate 60 series has become Huawei’s best-selling phone over the past three years and a research report reveals that it has made massive sales in the month of October, achieving over 90% growth.

Counterpoint Research is saying that China’s smartphone sales grew for the first time in four weeks of October with an average of 11% as compared to October 2022. The latest data is generated ahead of the single day AKA double eleven sales period in the country.

Meanwhile, Huawei is doing good sales in the country tapping over 90% of smartphone sales increment during the four-week timeline. The research firm says that Huawei is making a resurgence with its processor – Kirin 9000s and it’s helping the Huawei Mate 60 series to sell more devices in the market.

Huawei 90% growth October

Archie Zhang, Counterpoint’s China analyst said that Huawei’s growth has been stellar with its new launch marketing and strong media coverage around its domestic chipset production.

However, Huawei is facing severe production challenges similar to Apple. With higher than expected demand, the suppliers and the producers are shocked and facing issues in completing the device shortage in the market.

Although analysts remain optimistic about Huawei’s performance, it would be interesting to see how Huawei will gather a better supply chain to deliver products on time.
