Yesterday, it was reported that Huawei is working hard to release a new smart screen, which will be powered by HarmonyOS and supports many new features including improved audio and visual experience. Its launch likely scheduled to happen on March 25.
Recently, a Weibo tipster – Changan Digital King reveals that there will be a high probability that the upcoming smart screens may be debuted in A-series in two sizes, 55-inch and 75-inch. Additionally, he hints the Huawei 8K TV may likely arrive in May 2021.
As of now, Huawei already has three existing smart screen series from low-end to high-end models that include V-series, X series, and S-series, which corresponds to smartphone lines of P, Mate, and Nova smartphones respectively. And the upcoming smart screen A-series will be the fourth one, which will be corresponding to Enjoy series.
Moreover, the tipster doesn’t unveil any information except arrival time regarding the Huawei 8K smart screen (TV). Aside from this, no official information is available at the moment related to smart screens. More details are yet to come. Stay tuned.
To be mentioned, the Ultra HD Video Industry Development Action Plan (2019-2022) published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Administration of Radio, Film, and China Central Television Broadcasting Station clearly stated that the sales of 4K TV’s will account for more than 40% of the total TV sales in 2020 (20 million units).
By 2022, 4K TV will be fully popularized, and the sales of 8K TV will be more than 5% of the total TV sales that accounted for 2.5 million units.

On April 28, Huawei organized a new product launch event to welcome its foldable flagship, Huawei Mate Xs 2 in China. Alongside, Huawei has also launched a bunch of new products including the Smart Screen SE series.
Huawei Smart Screen SE series launched in five models including SE43, SE55, SE65, SE55 Pro, and SE65 Pro. To provide a better picture quality and solve the smoothness issue problem in moving pictures, it is equipped with fast and smooth technology for the first time.

On April 28, Huawei released the Smart Screen V Pro series alongside the foldable flagship Mate Xs 2 in China. This series consisted of two Smart Screens V65 Pro and V75 Pro to provide an outstanding viewing experience.

Huawei Smart Screen V Pro series uses Huawei’s self-developed Honghu SuperMiniLED precision backlight technology. It sports 1000nit peak brightness, and 97% DCI-P3 color gamut. With Honghu computing image quality, low-pixel sources can also obtain clear and perceptible image quality improvement.
In terms of design, the new smart screen V Pro adopts a drilling and cutting process frame, a visual borderless design, an integrated SoundBar design, and a 24 million liftable AI smart eye.

Today, Huawei has announced another smart product – Huawei Smart Screen V Pro to launch on April 28 alongside Mate Xs 2 foldable flagship. Following the official teaser, this new smart screen is equipped with a new generation of picture quality technology and Honghu SuperMiniLED computing picture quality to provide a new user experience.
However, Huawei Smart Screen V Pro will be debuted in two sizes 65-inches and 75-inches at April 28 event. In the latest edition, Huawei has opened the pre-order for Smart Screen V Pro with a deposit of just 100 yuan.
Huawei Smart Screen V Pro:
According to the JD.com listing, Huawei Smart Screen V Pro comes with a 65-inch with miniLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 16:9 screen ratio, 500-800 nits brightness, DCI-P3, HDR, and more.
This smart screen expands 1447.9mm x 861.2mm x 65.5mm (width, height, thickness) and weighs around 29.1 kg (with base). Also, in terms of core parameters, it has an octa-core CPU core, HarmonyOS system, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, miniLED backlight method, and Celia Voice Assistant.
The Smart Screen V Pro supports both wired and wireless connection and sound power of 65W. Also, it is a non-touchscreen. Speaking about the miniLED backlight, there are 46080 MiniLED lamp beads inside the screen, each of which is only 1/120 of the area of traditional LEDs and has 2880 physical LEDs. The backlight partition support 3000nits HDR peak brightness to provide a realistic restoration of natural colors.
