Today, Huawei announced a new achievement for the Mate series devices and confirmed that the Mate devices shipment collectively reached 100 million units.

The Chinese tech maker celebrated this moment with the launch of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro without an unveiling event. The company has introduced this new flagship phone under the “Pioneer Program”. This program simply allows customers to get the upcoming flagship in advance.

Huawei said that since its release in 2013, the Mate series smartphones have been loved by consumers around the world. It created one miracle after another in the development of Huawei’s high-end mobile phones.

“The cumulative shipment of Huawei Mate series mobile phones reached 100 million units, which is a major milestone in the development of China’s high-end mobile phone brand.” wrote the company in its Pioneer Program launch.

On the other hand, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro unveiling has surprised us to the core but the company may have an official unveiling later on. Ahead of that, it’s a better way to celebrate new shipments as Huawei is taking a new direction for the smartphone lineup.
