Huawei released October 2020 security update for Huawei Enjoy Z 5G

Huawei Enjoy Z 5G users receiving a new software update. This update mainly brings the security patch released in October 2020 that improves the system security and fixes different levels of exploits and issues.

Aside from this, Huawei is under-development of the EMUI 11 beta testing program and continuously recruiting more devices and sending respective updates as well as the stable versions.

However, Huawei Enjoy Z 5G is an eligible device for EMUI 11 beta but, the company didn’t announce EMUI 11 beta for Enjoy Z 5G users.

Now, Huawei Enjoy Z 5G is grabbing EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.197 updated from 10.1.1.195 and install the October 2020 security patch.

HOW TO UPDATE HUAWEI ENJOY Z 5G :

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.

REMEMBER:

1. The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
2. The update will not erase any data.
