Huawei Pocket 2 will soon set its legs on the consumer platform and a new input suggests that the upcoming foldable is significantly thin and lightweight. At the same time, it sheds light on the processor and other key specs of the handset.
According to tipster @DigitalChatStation, Huawei Pocket 2 is a thin and lightweight flagship folding phone. It will further adopt the Kirin 9000s chip for an efficient and reliable performance experience along with 5G network capabilities.
The information is quite in line with the previous revelations when Huawei hearsay to test the Kirin 9000s chipset for its new flip-flop smartphone. Also, the Huawei Device Group COO – He Gang shared insights on the smoothness and reliability of the upcoming device.
On the flip side, the post reads that Xiaomi and Honor are also on the way to unveiling their first small vertical folding phones probably, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Besides, Xiaomi foldable could take the lead in satellite connectivity.
Earlier, we reported that the Huawei Pocket 2 is likely to support the Satellite SMS feature. The company has not confirmed the news. Yet, it seems that the Chinese OEM may impose advanced techs and features on its new Pocket handset.

Huawei Pocket 2: Leaked Specs
The company has officially teased the Pocket 2 on its Weibo page and specifically highlighted two circular modules at the rear end. Perhaps, the first would refer to the triple-lens framework along with an LED Flash.
Whereas, the second one would be a software-tagged external screen. So far, the same tipster reported that the device will support a 4520mAh battery with 66W fast charging. Moreover, we could find a variety of color options like Rococo White, Purple plain leather, and more with the new foldable.
