On December 24, 2021, Huawei has published a new patent for Arteriosclerosis Detection with announcement number CN113838567A. According to the China Intellectual Property Database, the Chinese tech maker applied for this patent on June 8, 2020 and now got approval.

Arteriosclerosis:

Arteriosclerosis occurs when the blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients from your heart to the rest of your body (arteries) become thick and stiff — sometimes restricting blood flow to your organs and tissues.

Patent Description:

According to the information, this patented technology can show the arterial detection status of the arteriosclerosis detector to remind the user that the arterial segment is the detection position of this identified artery Even if the user is a non-professional person, you can intuitively determine the arterial segment area detected during arteriosclerosis measurement.

The arteriosclerosis detection technology includes the following steps:

  • Obtain the type of arteriosclerosis detector in use
  • Creating a detection interface and determining the detection position of the artery corresponding to the type of arteriosclerosis detector
  • Displaying the detection status of the artery in the detection interface

Previous information:

Last week, Huawei announced a patent for the ECG detection device with publication number CN113796872A. This innovation provides an electrocardiogram (ECG) detection device and detection circuit that can effectively reduce interference to ECG signals and assure the accuracy of ECG detection.

After the patent, Huawei has launched new Huawei Watch D Blood Pressure and ECG Detection on December 23. This smartwatch is specially designed for measuring accurate blood pressure and ECG (electrocardiogram). Read more
