Huawei fans are looking forward to an official launch event for the P70 series but it seems the company canceled this plan for some unknown reasons. That says a new report surfing on the Weibo platform, hinting at direct sales of the next P lineup.
Weibo account @BadCritic recently notified that the Huawei P70 series launch event has suddenly been canceled. Even though the tipster did not mention the brand’s name, many netizens predicted that the post was undoubtedly related to Huawei.
Further details revealed that the company has already refunded the media and its staff members who had purchased the tickets for the alleged launch event.

The respective statement also created a buzz among netizens. Many said that Huawei was about to hold a press conference on April 8 to unveil the new Luxeed S7 smart car model to consumers and probably include the flagship P70 handsets.
A few industry insiders are hearsay to reveal that the Chinese tech giant could directly start selling the upcoming premium lineup any time from now under the Pioneer Plan (just like the Mate 60 Pro) rather than promoting it officially.
This is not the first time the P70 models are hearsay to skip the grand launch event. Some early inputs have already shed light on this subject with possible outcomes.

P70 series Pre-Order Services began!
During a recent interrogation, Huawei store staff disclosed that the blind reservations for the P70 series have begun. Customers can now pay a specific deposit in the offline stores and book the flagship device, ahead of the authorized release.
The staff mentioned that though there aren’t any major details about the new models, it will notify the consumers as soon as devices become available on the shelves.
Several leaks and rumors have hyped the expectations of Huawei fans for the all-new P70 handsets. The introduction of improved Kirin chips, upgraded satellite features, enhanced variable aperture tech, and the latest camera solutions are the key parameters that may show up with the next P-tagged models.
