Huawei might not hold launch event for P70 flagship, just like Mate 60 series

News regarding the Huawei P70 series predicts that the company might skip a grand launch event for the upcoming flagship, just like the Mate 60 smartphones. The tech giant could directly initiate online and offline sales of P70 models in its stores.

Weibo tipster @DirectorShiGuan shares new insights saying that the P70 series is the biggest addition to the Huawei P-lineup in the industry and it will enter the real world within a few days. He also says that this lineup will appear in Pioneer Project.

Some other details reveal that Huawei is on its way to unveil the Pioneer Plan for the P70 series, and won’t hold any launch event for it. The tech giant is likely to follow the Mate 60 series suit and start selling the P70 models directly to consumers.

Mate 60 Series Launch

Huawei unexpectedly introduced the Mate 60 models under a Pioneer Project, which means users can reserve the device ahead of its official availability.

This ultimate action resulted in a sudden growth of the company as well as booming sales of the Mate 60 handsets. However the reason remained a secret as to why the tech giant opted to unveil the premium devices without any grand promotion.

Now it seems like Huawei wants to continue this trend with the P70 series as well. Although the firm has not marked any confirmation on this news nor has it cited the launch date disclosure. Hence let’s take this input currently with a pinch of salt.

Some Huawei store staff recently reported that the top-end P70 series will be available for pre-order in early April. At the same time, they have mentioned that none of the emerging renders reveals the accurate design of the upcoming phones.
