Huawei P50 series launch confirmed internally, promote with 4G, HarmonyOS and hole punch display: Tipster

Just recently, a Weibo tipster – Digital Chat Station revealed some information regarding Huawei P50 series and mentioned that Huawei has confirmed the P50 series and so far only 4G versions are decided to be promoted online.

However, the operating system in Huawei P50 smartphones is the newly launched HarmonyOS 2 and the display has a center hole-punch cutout on the top center of the screen.

Huawei P50 Series Confirmation:

On June 2, Huawei has officially made it clear that the Huawei P50 series to launch in the coming month. However, the company is yet to confirm a specific date of the event.

Earlier this month, Huawei shared a teaser video of HarmonyOS, which reveals the finest and premium design of this upcoming flagship. The phone also shows us that giant pill shape camera bump placed vertically on the rear side of the device. As it has two circular camera modules, consisting of different lenses for an advanced mobile photography experience.

Huawei P50 launch:

Just a day ago, a tipster familiar with this matter reveals the expected launch date of the Huawei P50 series, which is set for July 29. However, it also mentioned that Huawei will only unveil 4G models of the Huawei P50.

In the following, he also mentioned further the company will promote the 5G models, which have been less in quantity, and will introduce extra variants to increase sales volume.

Huawei P50 Specification:

Huawei P50 series is the upcoming annual flagship in the existing P-series, which will arrive in three models including Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+.

Among them, Huawei P50 standard variant sports a 6.3-inch display, 9000E processor, and more. While Huawei P50 Pro and Pro+ powered by Kirin 9000 chipset.

In terms of camera, this lineup will equip with 1/1.18-inch ultra-high pixel main camera solutions, which will allow users to capture a realistic and provide a high-quality experience.
