As of now, Huawei has conducted three major events this year. First is the launch of the Mate X2 foldable phone, next is the introduction of smart products in May, and on June 2nd, it unveiled the new operating system – HarmonyOS 2 for smartphones alongside the Watch 3 series as well as the MatePad Pro lineup.

By end of the HarmonyOS 2 launch, the Chinese tech maker also gave us a glimpse of its upcoming Huawei P series flagship that will launch soon, yet Huawei has not revealed an exact date to mark its arrival.

The teaser shows that the P50 series will come with a massive pill shape camera bump consisting of two large circles and each of them includes different kinds of sensors. Other than its premium design, the phone is surely ready to make a debut with a new kind of smartphone camera experience.

And related to this matter, a tipster has confirmed that this phone lineup will be packed with a large camera sensor.

According to the tipster, the upcoming Huawei P50 series will feature a 1/1.18-inch ultra-high pixel main camera solution, which will allow users to capture stunning pictures.

Last year’s Huawei P40 Pro was the first smartphone to equip a 1/1.28-inch sensor and the first with RYYB color mapping and delivers 40% more light intake in comparison to any other CMOS sensor.

The previous report suggests that the Huawei P50 series will launch somewhere in July or August. The series is likely to consist of three models – Huawei P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+. These phones are powered by 5nm Kirin 9000 processors.

Huawei P50 sports a 6.3-inch display and P50 Pro sports a 6.7-inch display. Both of these have the center hole-punch design to house a selfie camera and only the standard version has flat glass. Moreover, these phones will come with a pre-installed HarmonyOS software system.
