Huawei P40 Lite goes on sale in South Africa, bundles with FreeBuds Lite

Earlier this month, Huawei began taking pre-order for Huawei P40 lite in South Africa and now this quad-camera phone is available to purchase among the general consumers in the country.

Huawei P40 Lite in South Africa is priced at ZAR 6,499 at Huawei Store and ZAR 6,999  HiCell in Sakura Pink and Midnight Black color. Customers who purchase this smartphone will get a free pair of Huawei FreeBuds lite, 40W SuperCharge charger, and added with redeemable vouchers.

Huawei P40 Lite comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ (2310 x 1080) display with a hole punch design. This phone expands at 76.3 x 159.2 x 8.7 mm and weighs 183g. The phone comes in two beautiful colors of Sakura Pink and Midnight Black.

From the power perspective, the P40 lite equips 7nm Kirin 810 Octa-core processor, supported by 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. The storage supports expansion up to 256GB via NM Card.

To provide sufficient power, the P40 Lite packages with 4200mAh battery that recharges with SuperCharge fast charging.

The camera is also a powerful section Huawei P40 Lite because there is a quad-camera system placed on the rear including a 48MP(Wide Angle Lens, f/1.8 aperture) + 8 MP (Ultra Wide Angle Lens) + 2 MP (Macro lens) + 2 MP(Bokeh lens).

On the front side, the P40 Lite has a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture placed inside the hole punch.

Huawei P40 Lite comes pre-installed with EMUI 10 based on open-source Android. It’s supported by Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and doesn’t come with Google Mobile Services and Google Play Store.
