Huawei is rolling out a new software update for the P40 Lite that comes with EMUI version 10.1.0.365 and a package size of 182 Megabytes. This software also comes amid the rollout of news of EMUI 12 that the Huawei P40 Lite fans are eagerly waiting for.

Aside from China, Huawei has decided to send EMUI 12 for global consumers and recently revealed the plan of upgrading its devices with this new EMUI version instead of bringing HarmonyOS outside of China. Although, Huawei consumers want to test the latest HarmonyOS features but the OS doesn’t seem to be ready for its global journey in smartphone devices.

However, EMUI 12 will follow the next revolution in terms of change it brings in the user interface as well as other parts of the software system. Therefore, the Chinese tech maker has released a new software update for the Huawei P40 Lite, which could also receive EMUI 12 in the future, since its rebranded version – Nova 7i has also made its place in the list.

Aside from the EMUI 12 Huawei P40 lite discussion, the latest software update for this device brings a number of new improvements to the system security and installs the latest security patches released in the month of October 2021. (reports Huaweiblog)
