Huawei is rolling out a brand new software update for the quad camera-powered Mate 30 Pro in the global market. The latest update brings a number of new improvements to the security system with the latest patches released in October 2021 for Huawei Mate 30 Pro.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro in the global market runs EMUI 11, although it’s confirmed for the EMUI 12 (check EMUI 12 eligible devices). Its Chinese counterpart has already been upgraded with the HarmonyOS operating system but the global users are looking forward to this software rollout that will start in the first half of 2022.

According to Huaweiblog, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro October 2021 update comes with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.212 and package size of 256MB. This software update will expand gradually, so may have to check the update manually via the following instructions.

Note, the My Huawei has now replaced the Support app in some markets, so, we recommend you to update the Support app if the update is available via AppGallery.

Download Via Settings:

  • Open smartpnoe Settings
  • Select System
  • Now click on Software update
  • Then Check for updates
  • If available, click Download and install
  • Now you can Restart your device

Download via Support app

  • Open Support app on your smartphone
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Now select Update
  • Click on Check for Updates
  • If available, then tap Download and install
  • Now you can Restart your device

Last month, Huawei already sent a new software update for the Huawei Mate 30 Pro global models running EMUI 11. The global update consists of new system apps including quick download shortcuts for the following apps: Books, Petal Maps, GameCenter, Member Center, Link Now, and Celia Keyboard.

System:

Improves system stability in certain scenarios.

Apps:

Adds the Huawei apps folder to the home screen to keep you up to date on popular apps.
Adds quick download shortcuts for the following apps: Books, Petal Maps, GameCenter, Member Center, Link Now, and Celia Keyboard.
