March EMUI security starts to rollout for Huawei P30 lite

EMUI 10 rollout for Huawei P30 series is still underway in a few markets, the latest version of EMUI brings various new features and user experiences.

A recent update for P30 lite users (upgraded to EMUI 10) improved Audio and calling features. And with a fresh new firmware, the P30 lite can now access system security improvements released this month.

The March 2020 security improvements for Huawei P30 lite includes patches from Google and fixes for 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

Note: The update is rolling out in batches, so it may take some time to reach your device/country.

CHECK FOR UPDATE:

Via Settings:

1. Open Settings
2. Click on ‘System & updates’
3. Click on ‘Software update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’

Via HiCare/Support:

1. Open HiCare/Support app
2. Click on ‘Services’ tab
3. Click on ‘Update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’
