Huawei P30 Lite New Edition

A new software update is rolling out for the Huawei P30 Lite New Edition (NE) smartphone running on EMUI 10. This update mainly brings security improvement released in March 2021.

According to the changelog, the March 2021 security patch fixes 2 critical, 13 high, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

Additionally, Huawei has found out 3 known hidden privacy issues and resolves them with security patches because they can harm user’s data and give the opportunity to the hacker to enter the device.

Coming to P30 Lite NE, it is a refurbished version of the P30 Lite smartphone that comes with Google Mobile Service (GMS), Kirn 710 processor, EMUI 9.1, and more.

On the other hand, Huawei has recently released the March 2021 security update for the P30 Lite smartphone. It enhances the system security as well as overall device performance.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System & Updates
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device
