Huawei P20 and P20 Pro global users are in line waiting to grab EMUI 10, but the company has said that Huawei P20 lite won’t receive the latest EMUI version.

Similar to other smartphones that are not receiving the EMUI 10, Huawei said it’ll continue to roll out EMUI security updates to Huawei P20 Lite.

And now, the Huawei P20 lite is receiving a new software update that installs February 2020 security patch to improve EMUI system security.

The February 2020 update improves system security with Google security patches and fixes to 2 critical and 20 high levels of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE).

One of the critical CVE-2020-0022 AKA BlueFrag was also fixed in this update, which allows silent code execution on the device that leads to data theft and spreading malware.
