During the Operating System Industry Summit 2022, Huawei revealed that the OpenEuler installations mark reached 2.45 million units, which is equivalent to 22% of the total server operating system market in China.

OpenEuler is an operating system designed and developed by Huawei for the server market. Due to its open-source environment, OpenEuler supports six processor architectures including x86, Arm, RISC-V, LoongArch, SW64, and Power.

Obtaining 22% of a server operating system market such as China is a big achievement for OpenEuler software.

In January 2021, Huawei announced the donation of the source code of Euler OS to the Open Atom foundation. After that, the software is renamed as OpenEuler.

Information on this matter reveals OpenEuler has recently released version 22.09 version. It is the first innovative version after community donation, while the full code version 22.09 reached over 670 million lines and 20.12 million lines of new code. There are a total of 48000 lines of code added to the kernel so far.
